We are excited to be rapidly expanding our team and are now seeking a Software License and Compliance Associate to help Connor’s operation in Japan, build strong client relationships and engagements.

Overall, we are looking for an innovative individual passionate about Customer-Engagement who is willing to learn and build his/her career in Software Licensing and Compliance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • executes the work of the software license compliance program.
  • describes the software license compliance program to client customers over the phone and email to support data collection. identify and solve client customer challenges in the process.
  • use internal and client systems to track the progress of each account and share it with the team.
  • Processing remote compliance-related campaigns on Japanese companies launched by our clients (i.e. software license compliance).
  • Following up with our client's customers to explain in detail the nature and the scope of the project, help with data collection requirements, identify and resolve any challenges our client's customers are having and document the progress of each account in a system that tracks overall progress and success.

Required Skills


  • university graduates and above, regardless of field
  • customer service experience (more than 2 years)
  • interested and willing to learn about software license compliance
  • experience in the software license compliance industry is still acceptable
  • be able to think on your own about the purpose and issues of the assigned business and actively work on it
  • not only can we carry out the given work, but we can also take the initiative in even a little explanation.
  • better prioritizes operations and manages time on time
  • even if you don't get results right away, you can work without giving up
  • attention to detail
  • english: daily conversation level or higher (business level or higher)
  • japanese: business level or higher
  • At least a Bachelor's Degree, any field
  • At least 2+ years of prior experience in a customer contact role
  • Interested and willing to learn about software license compliance
  • Experience in software license a plus
  • Must be proactive and highly independent in fulfilling assigned tasks and delivering desired output
  • Able to prioritize deliverables and manage time properly to meet set deadlines
  • Able to handle rejection
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Business level written & spoken proficiency in Japanese
