Job Description

The candidate will be experienced in providing outstanding services in support of Procurement, proactively leading, monitoring and managing onsite Client account activities.  Effective in managing direct and indirect reports, you will guide individuals to support Client procurement requirements.  Authenticity and a genuine desire to deliver professional, value-focused services exceeding Client expectations will drive your success.

 

Operational Management

  • Lead in the sourcing and RFx process for goods and services locally

  • Lead process improvement initiatives for the purchasing function

  • Enters and process Purchase Request and Orders on Coupa

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity are maintained in the system

  • Process the purchase orders by liaising with suppliers and stakeholders

  • Track the status of requisitions, contracts and orders

  • Generate periodic reports on open orders

  • Ensure all stakeholders and/or suppliers pertaining to queries about order status, changes or cancellations are responded

 

Procurement and Control

  • Address all quality, delivery and performance issues with users and

  • Ensure all purchase request are approved within Amazon mandate

  • Review requisition orders to verify accuracy and specifications c/w any required reports for request of approval

  • Work closely with finance department to ensure that there is allocated and sufficient budget for any purchase

  • Monitor contractor performance, recommending contract modifications when necessary

  • Analyzing and reporting of purchasing activities and budget balance required for weekly procurement meetings

  • Ensure all vendors are aware of and comply with defined standard of EHS

  • Be open about possible risk, and implement measures to tackle all unnecessary risk.

  • Maintain current knowledge of applicable laws, rules and regulations to recommend revisions to existing practices, as well as maximizing efficiency, effectiveness, customer satisfaction and statutory compliance

  • Maintain a high level of knowledge relating to local vendor competence and competitive marketing conditions as they relate to requirements of client

  • Actively involve end users in contract and procurement management

  • Manage QBR with vendors and site team

 

Administrative

  • Generate purchasing report, bid proposals, requirements documentation

  • tender documents

  • Review and maintain purchasing files, reports and price list

  • Setting up catalog in the system

  • Submit administrative reports as requested.

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by JP Hub Lead

Required Skills

Experience

  • At least 5 – 8 years of relevant working experience in procurement

  • Knowledge of procurement methods and procedures of a centralized purchasing function

  • Possess good IT skills

  • Proficient in MS Applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
