Business Development Executive /Sales Manager

Job Description

  • You will be responsible for identifying and developing prospective customers and make our Engineering Solutions Sellable
  • You will identify and qualify potential OEM and first-tier customers to target and build business opportunities by understanding the market (competitive landscape, customer knowledge and customers mapping)
  • You actively participate in relevant trade shows and events where target (direct) customers can be assessed and approached
  • You provide accurate and reliable regular forecast of business opportunities and business development activities as a tool to refine the right market strategies
  • When necessary you are a strong key account manager and help set the project team to deliver the solutions
  • You will work closely with the product management and marketing/sales teams to ensure product offerings are matching the market needs
  • You generate leads and ensure lead management and prioritization, together with the marketing team
  • You are ready to travel across the country to meet the customers, drive the growth of the business in Japan and later in Korea (at a later stage, provided Japan market objectives are met) – some travels are expected in Europe as well
  • You are passionate about our client brand and you are a strong ambassador, sharing the success story and the unique technology to all prospective customers/ decision-makers

What we are looking for:

  • You possess strong cognitive abilities, the ability to learn and adapt quickly and are able to lead complex sales processes with high level technical discussions and requirements
  • You have a good understanding of Manufacturing process for the automotive sectors (prototyping/ low-volume production)
  • You are effectively bilingual in English and Japanese.
  • You have a strong business acumen, possess excellent communication and presentation skills and an ability to forecast efficiently and accurately
  • You are entrepreneurial, self-driven and highly motivated by detecting and building business and you can work with a high degree of independence and autonomy

Working Hours:

Minimum Education Level Bachelor's Degree
Visa Status Permission to work in Japan required

Required Skills

  • Drive the development of the relationship with a focus on increasing penetration, differentiation and value 
  • Assist the Delivery Team in establishing and developing long term customer commitment through maintaining strong customer satisfaction, implementing proactive/corrective actions as necessary 
  • Min 5-8 years’ experience, with a strong sales background 
  • A “consultative sales” mind-set and approach, and collaborative in attitude and style 
  • Strong track record of selling is essential, and tenacity and perseverance to hunt in a developing market 
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a dynamic environment 
  • Excellent communication, customer Interaction and presentation skills are mandatory 

Any Indian Outsourcing /IT/Engineering Services  Company Experience is preferred.
