Job Description

systemsGo is seeking a Pre-sales Solutions Consultant to join our Japan team. We are recognized for providing consistent high quality IT solutions combining local awareness with the ability to communicate with IT HQ staff abroad and implement global IT standards in a local context. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced industry professional with strong core technical skills to join and add value to a dedicated and friendly team. You will be responsible for actively driving and managing the pre-sales process in coordination with sales and delivery teams.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Act as lead technical consultant on client engagements
  • Responsible for actively driving and managing the pre-sales process with new and existing clients
  • Must be able to articulate the company’s service offerings, positioning to both business and technical users.
  • Primarily engaged in a pre-sales technical consultancy role, the consultant will provide technical assistance and guidance during the pre-sales process to the sales executives by identifying customers technical and business requirements, prior to designing a solution, consulting with technical teams about capabilities, and supporting the sales teams on proposal activities.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Attend meetings with potential Clients to determine technical and business requirements and ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution
  • Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed timeframes
  • Create and confidently deliver technical presentations internally and externally
  • Create internal design configuration documentation including solutions diagrams with technical explanations when necessary
  • Builds productive relationships internally and externally, fostering teamwork by keeping colleagues updated on activities
  • Able to understand business drivers and risks involved to the customer
  • Provide accurate and timely management information, to include - activity reports, bid reviews, project forecasts
  • To assist in structuring and producing compelling sales proposals/commercial and technical documentation in coordination with sales team members
  • outlining the cost savings and business benefits to clients of systemsGo’s solutions
  • Interface with the implementation / project team, articulating customer requirement, to ensure smooth transition from sale to delivery

General Requirements

Minimum Experience Level Over 3 years
Career Level Mid Career
Minimum English Level Business Level (Amount Used: English usage about 75%)
Minimum Japanese Level Business Level
Minimum Education Level Technical/Vocational College
Visa Status Permission to work in Japan required

Required Skills

  • 2 years+ experience in a pre-sales technical consulting, business analyst or pre-sales project solutions position
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Good client and management and communication abilities
  • Business level Japanese ability along with intermediate or higher English ability preferred
