We are looking for a backend engineer who has a high degree of ownership and can accelerate the rear architect.
We have been providing SaaS for over 3 years.
Among them, we have some legacy products that are the core of our business.
We are currently in the process of needing an architectural replacement from monoliths to microservices.

There are two main expectations for this position.

1) Support for legacy products (PHP / Ruby)
Maintaining and replacing legacy products requires persevering effort.
The documentation may be incomplete or the engineer may need to dig deeper into the code to resolve the issue.
We are looking for people who can spare no effort and be patient with the product.
To be clear, we never downplay such efforts.
We know that we have legacy products that are at the core of our business, and that our business is running properly.

2) Always learning new technologies (e.g golang) and constantly finding ways to solve problems and requirements.
WealthPark, on the other hand, went from legacy to modern to expand its business and realize its mission.
I would like to rebuild the architecture.
We look forward to those who understand existing products, but are constantly learning new technologies and finding ways to solve their challenges and requirements in order to contribute to the new architecture.
The programming language will be mainly golang.
However, we are a very flat organization / team.
Therefore, you are free to propose architectures and technology stacks.

[What I want you to do]
・ Think about strategies to realize our Vision and Mission, and work on the realization as a team.
-Brainstorming with product managers, designers, backends, and frontend engineers, Design Sprint, and Event Storming to build new functions and architectures.
-Maintenance and improvement of existing products (mainly PHP (Monolith) and Ruby (API)).
-Develop new APIs using Go, node.js, etc. and improve the architecture.

It is a lively environment where not only Japanese but also English, Mandarin, Cantonese, etc. are spoken.
The engineering department does not care about Japanese and has an English environment.

Required Skills

Technology, experience skills
・ 3 years or more of PHP or Ruby development experience or equivalent or higher skills
・ Framework development experience with PHP (Symphony) or Ruby or Python (Flask)
・ Those who have experience in developing Web API
・ Web API interface design experience
・ Experience in designing RDB tables and queries
・ Experience using CI / CD tools such as Jenkins
・ Willingness to continuously learn new technologies such as Golang

Soft skills
