Job Description
As an Application Engineer, the person will help key customers by
■ porting the company's reference Wi-Fi software to the customer's platform,
■ working to resolve customer's software issues,
■ testing that the Wi-Fi operation is acceptable and can meet the customer's requirements.
May be onsite to improve the Wi-Fi software or to add features.
You will work with internal teams as
- Hardware & Software Engineering,
- Systems,
- Field Applications Engineering,
- Sales & Marketing,
- Regulatory teams
and external customers

Required Skills
• Experience in wireless software development
• Understanding:
- Linux kernel, device drivers, networking protocols
- implementations, optimization or tuning system performance.
- various host interfaces: PCIe, SDIO, USB
• Basic PC skills (Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Strong team-player and practical hands-on problem solver
• logical thinking, communication skill and enthusiasm to solve problems in a collaborative manner
• English (Native Level) , Japanese (Basic Level)
• Experience in embedded system design
• Experience in Application/Customer Support
• Demonstrative ability to design solution
• Understanding each aspect of product life cycle
