Job Description

Job/Group Overview: 

You will work for our client's Transaction Services IT group (a part of a global team), responsible for providing business solution, support and ensuring stability for the organization. 

Technical Analyst (TA) works as a subject matter expert (SME) of application(s), system design and development.  Also it involves interaction with L1/L2 production services team for technological implementation, and supporting production incidents, as well as follow-up activities.

Also it involves interfacing global application teams, business users and cross-regional project teams identifying and prioritizing the business needs and ensuring deliverables are meeting user expectation.


  • Work as a part of a local development team, contributing to system design and development of global and local applications of middle/back offices.
  • Interact with business analyst and users and global and/or local application teams to clarify requirements and decide priorities.
  • Provide functional/technical documents according to business requirements and design functions.
  • Provide 3rd level support assistance to the Production Support team, to enable effective and timely support of the production environment.

Required Skills

Requirements (indicate any mandatory and/or preferred credentials):


  • 5 to 8 years in Subject Matter Expert (SME) for finance client
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong system design and development skills.
  • Knowledge and working experience in Linux, Sybase, MQ, JAVA.
  • Experience or understanding of SCC (source code management - like Git / SVN)
  • Experience or understanding of in CI/CD and DevOps
  • Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience working in finance or IT industry.
  • Must be a team player, flexible to work on and support multiple applications, have passion for improvement/innovation and willingness to learn and implement new technologies.


  • Japanese and English bilingual
  • Work experience or understanding on Spring, Hibernate frameworks
  • Experience of Global system development and support
  • Business knowledge of wholesale middle/back office flow of a security brokerage
