Lumentum はクラウド、ネットワーキング、先進製造技術、3Dセンシングなどの用途でスケールとスピードを向上させる革新的なフォトニクス製品及び技術を提供しています。

Lumentum の革新的なフォトニクス製品のポートフォリオは、通信ネットワーク全体のアジリティ、フレキシビリティ、スピードの向上を実現します。大規模なデータセンターで処理、蓄積されるデータ量は増加の一途をたどっています。この問題を解決するのが当社の製品です。こうしたデータトラフィックの大半は、モバイル機器、PC、スマートテレビへのビデオストリーミングを含むクラウドベースのアプリケーションが占めています。

当社はフォトニクスの専門知識と技術を活かして、キロワットクラスのファイバレーザや超短パルス固体レーザをはじめとする高性能な産業用レーザを生産しています。これらは、自動車、家電、半導体チップ、携帯電話、タブレット、PC など、厳格な規格に準拠する製品の製造に使用されます。
