The role is responsible for implementing and supporting the PECM ( Partner Engagement and Country Management) HR charter in Japan. Key areas of focus are compensation and benefits area,  ensuring the service levels of the outsourcers in the space, and managing employee relations concerns. 
Job Description	
Major responsibilities of this position include (but not limited to) the following core charters of Japan Human Resources organization.

1. Compensation and Benefits (C&amp;B)
 - Implement C&amp;B policies, programs and initiatives under guidance of Head of HR , while ensuring Japan policies, programs and initiatives are in line with company global policy.
 - Being main contact point for regional C&amp;B team and work with them on Japan issues and roll-out of global / regional programs. 
 - Provide proactive management support on C&amp;B related issues. 

2. INDIVIDUAL EMPLOYEE RELATIONS 
 - Support line management and people managers in the handling of individual Employee Relations cases such as disciplinary issues. 
 - Support Head of HR  in preparing and providing pro-active management education/briefings to reduce incidence of complaints for non compliance. 
 - The role should be shared with another HR staff.  Target is to cover 50% of the employee population.

3. EMPLOYEE COMMUNICATION 
 - Lead proactive HR communications through HR intranet.
 - Make sure information on the HR intranet is current and  easy to understand for general employees.

4. BUSINESS PROCESS OUTSOURCING 
 - Monitor and track quality of BPO.  
 - Provide proactive recommendations for improving the BPO quality. 
 - Guide / coach the BPO vendor(s) for seamless and consistent process flow of C&amp;B processes.
5. MERGER AND ACQUISITION IMPLEMENTATION 
 - Support smooth implementation of M&amp;A processes.   

6. HR PROJECTS / INITIATIVES
 - Lead, guide and support HR projects and initiatives, especially those stipulated as priorities or objectives of a year by corporate and/or APAC region, as an expert of C&amp;B. </div>
