Summary of Position:
The Student Services Coordinator will support all aspects of university student life.  He/she will be especially responsible for handling admitted student inquiries as well as providing appropriate support to students including housing, financial aid,, student visas, and others. The coordinator will also assist with student orientations, cross-cultural events, and other university activities. The coordinator will manage student records and databases, assist with student evaluations and reports, and participate in the development of content for publications and the website. The coordinator will also work closely with other advisors in the Office of Student Services, the Academic Counseling Office (student recruiting), Office of Admissions, and Academic Advising Center.

Temple University Japan (TUJ) is a branch campus of Temple University and presently educates over 3,000 students from nearly 50 countries in its undergraduate, law, MBA, graduate education, continuing education, and corporate education programs. Summary of Position

TUJ seeks two motivated and outgoing admission counselors - one individual for its overseas markets and another for its domestic market - to support university recruiting and prospective student advising.  The admission counselors will assist TUJ in meeting enrollment goals that focus on continuing our current growth (both domestic and overseas) and achieving a qualified and diverse student population.  The counselors will generally represent TUJ to the public and market TUJ and its vision to prospective students, parents, school counselors, academic institutions, and other entities.  They will prepare and give presentations about TUJ, attend school fairs and recruiting conferences, and provide support to various recruiting projects and programs as determined by the Associate Dean for Enrollment Management. The ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills and sales and/or marketing experience. Although previous experience in the education sector is preferred, it is not essential.  Travel will likely be required.

Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ) is the Tokyo Campus of Temple University in Philadelphia. The undergraduate program at TUJ provides higher education for approximately 800 undergraduate students to pursue a degree in one of the Colleges of Art, Business, Communications, or Liberal Arts. All teaching and management functions are conducted entirely in English.

Job Description
- Provide academic advising for all undergraduate students, with particular responsibility for those studying for the Bachelor of Business Administration.
- Provide academic advising at all levels from choice of major through to graduation review, as well as to freshman and transfer students.
- Organize and conduct the new student orientation and advising.
- Serve as a liaison between the Academic Advising Center and the Business program, including providing the Business program 
- Organize advising events to assist the students to develop their knowledge of the majors offered, the curriculum, policy and regulations, and their independence to pursue their academic career.

&amp;middot;	Ensuring that staffing rosters are prepared and monitored in line with the schedule of courses across the program to ensure conduct in the most efficient and effective manner
