Maintenance of the Authorities Guidelines Document;
Establishment of a consolidated Business Continuity plan therefter monitoring and testing, and reviewing on an annual basis
Creation and maintenance of error reporting documentation and internal reporting, producing regular and meaningful MIS and validation of actions arising from such incidents;
Development and maintenance of all corrective action plans including monitoring and management of closure process working closely with the relevant staff, preparing meaningful and timely MIS;
Development and co-ordination of a termly self assessment process, ensuring that key risk areas are documented and that control weaknesses are reported on a timely basis; 
Performance of  ad hoc controls reviews, preparing appropriate, timely and meaningful reporting for the Bursar; 
Assisting the management of controls related reviews and audits of all activities that may be performed from time to time and subject to internal audit, external audit, and examination by Trustees, and local government organisations; 
Providing clear and concise reporting/regular MIS/status updates on action plan(s) and issues etc to the Bursar, Head Teacher and Board of Trustees; 
Liaison on a regular basis with subject matter experts ensuring that all activities remain compliant on a timely basis with relevant BST policy, local government and Japanese regulations; 
Technical support to all departments on appropriate compliance and controls issues, including recording and timely response to internal queries as necessary.

Implementation of the annual budget process liaising with all stakeholders ensuring the integrity and sign-off of all data supplied, and that submissions are made on a timely basis.
Management of the financial accounting system, including development verification, and production of management information reports, financial allocations and coding.
Analysis of financial data needed in fiscal and budgetary planning.
Responsible for maintaining the fixed asset register and mnitoring additions and disposals, and maintaining depreciation reports.
Responsible for developing and maintaining policies and procedures for the school’s computerized accounting system
Responsible for delivery of ad-hoc projects

Maintain and implement procedures and facilities that maintain the safety of all persons on and around the BST sites.
Giving advice on a range of specialist areas such as fire regulations, occupational health and environmental health.
Carry out regular inspections to check that policies and procedures are being properly implemented and meet statutory requirements. Keep records of findings and produce reports suggesting improvements for line management, Leadership Team and Board of Trustees.
Carry out incident and accident investigations, liaising with relevant authorities. Report findings and recommendations, which are then monitored. Develop preventative and remedial programmes.
Circulation of safety information
Risk assessments - monitor and review both routine and one-off activities
Schedule and monitor safety procedures, equipment, inspections and drills 
Keeping records of safety training mandating training as necessary
Ensure that appropriate designated and/or qualified personnel in place to meet statutory requirements.
Ensure that all personnel receive any safety codes of practice which are relevant to their work and all relevant documentation pertinent to their children is made available to parents either as hard copy or up-to-date on the website
Ensure staff and parent communications chains are functional and accurate
Incorporate full safety induction training for all new staff and students and run refresher sessions for current staff.
Participate in Emergency Planning Meetings with the Board Subcommittee, and initiate and maintain regular cross-functional staff safety meetings ensuring that safety matters are a routine part of the whole school’s functional agenda
