Our client seeks a Country Financial Controller for their Japan business. The Country Financial Controller is a No 2 role in Japan, you will report to the Country General Manager, the Regional Financial Controller and the Finance Director at Corporate head office. You will work closely with the Country General Manager as a business partner providing critical input as a key driver in the decision-making process, whilst maintaining independence. In addition, your responsibilities will include the following: Daily operations of finance department and handling all related issues having financial impact; Closings and reporting to head office; Managing export functions, costing and pricing of products coordinating with other departments and the General Manager; Managing staff; Preparing budget and forecast, and reporting to Global head office; Coordinating with internal and external auditors; and Tax filing and tax-related matters.
