What's a Keyword Search?

CareerCross' Keyword Search is one of the most useful search tools in helping you find the job you're perfect job. By refining your search to include only the jobs that contain the keyword(s) you entered, you can spend more time viewing the right jobs and less time searching through irrelevant ones.

Keywords are words, phrases and acronyms you use to describe your target job. Your keywords can be everything from desired job titles and required skills to job industry and specific company names (e.g., UNIX, programmer, SAP, sales, COBOL, human resources, Oracle, marketing, advertising). When you enter a keyword (or keywords) and click the 'Search Jobs' button, we search for job listings that include your keyword(s) in the job title and/or job description.
