Position Title: IT Operations Management Lead - Japan

Function
This position is the lead person responsible for the service and operations of IT systems and solutions in Japan. This includes systems supporting to Manufacturing/Plant Floor, Commercial Applications, Enterprise Resource Planning, Line of Business and Product Development in the area such as (but not limited to) ERP EDI, LAN/WAN network infrastructure, telephone, PC.

The position manages internal resources and/or outsourced supplier / agency for delivery of these services and stabile operations in Japan.

Detailed Responsibilities (not limited to)
· Proactive monitoring and alerting of system resources avoiding critical downtime
· Drive corrective actions through root cause analysis and solutions to assure no repeat incidents and lower lost work hours for those incidents that do occur.
· Computer Platform and Network Capacity & Performance monitoring
· Distributed Data Center and Equipment room management
· LAN/WAN Network Infrastructure management oversight and support
· Review of deployment & operations of Tactical and Strategy Projects to ensure stability.
· Implementation of Standard Methodologies and IT Work Processes
· Member of IT Operations Leadership weekly / monthly status meetings
· Ensure conformance and adherence to approved Sarbanes Oxley IT Operations controls. Responsible for adjusting and reporting as required.

Position Requirements (Skill and Experience)

· 8+ years experience in Information Technology with specific knowledge in IT Daily Operations and Systems Management
· Experienced in Enterprise Systems management and support including:
· Experienced in Project Management Methodologies and Disciplines
· Experienced in working in team environments and team management (staff and/or 3rd party) while developing effective working relationships with peers and management.
· Other technical Skills, Tools, Software required.
Microsoft Outlook e-mail, Microsoft Office Tools Suite, Tivoli/ HP Openview Systems
Management Tools, UNIX Systems Administration, RDBMS Administration (Oracle;DB2),
Product Data Management, Engineering Systems (CAD/CAE), EDI and Supplier communications,Enterprise Customer Management
· Proven Leadership, Team Player, Advanced Communication Skills, Critical Thinking, Time management and multi-tasking capabilities, Problem Resolution Skills with ability to make difficult decisions on functional and operational changes.
· English capability to communicate with overseas locations in English orally and in writing
· Willing to travel as required to locations under responsibility and on short notice for sites with serious incidents
· Education consist of BA or BS in relevant field or equivalent job experience
