As part of the ED Technology group, the successful candidate will be part of a global team responsible for delivering tailored I.T. solutions for the Equity Derivatives group. The role, based in Korea, will involve the build out of our Warrant trading platform in the Japan HK and Korea markets. The candidate will be working very closely with the individual trading, sales and marketing desks in the region to come up with anti arbitrage algorithms and innovative solutions for the new products we need to trade in the regions. Technologies used within the group include C++, C#, Java, RMDS, Excel VBA, Sybase, Rendezvous, Java, SecDb( proprietary Lang) across XP and Unix platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Take a lead role in integrating new products into the existing technology framework.
· Take a lead role in cross regional builds as we are expanding our footprint in the Asian region.
· Coordination of development and implementations with multiple business stakeholders.
· Drive forward and implement regional specific developments and contribute to the global development effort.
· Provide 2nd line of support for the warrants trading applications.

REQUIREMENTS:

· More than 3 years experience
· Experience in support/development on Unix & windows environment
· Strongly grounded in S/W engineering fundamentals with a mature mindset towards S/W changes and rollouts.
· Strong technical Java and C# skills (C/C++ will be a plus).
· Strong communication and project management skills
· Knowledge of equity derivatives products and pricing / risk issues will be a plus
· Bilingual in English and Korean
· Track record of delivery, positive attitude encouraged.
