Job Description

The following responsibilities are essential for the success of the role:
- As a member of the decision making team, this role will contribute to the strategy and direction creation for the business

- Develop and drive an effective clinical strategy that will inspire and attain success

- Identify, develop and retain top talent as you build a high performance team that is results orientated.

- Your bilingual skills will be critical as you liaise with the headquarters and regional offices to discuss the allocation and mobilization of resources

- Ensure that all protocols and trials be compliant with GCP standards as well as meet all business requirements.

- You will build strong internal relationships between key functions such as Regulatory, Clinical operation, medical affairs and pharmacovigilence to ensure the best results

- You will establish and further develop external relationships with governing bodies, Key Opinion leaders and academic centres.

- You will also play a critical role in supporting the commercial side of the business such as sales and marketing

Required Skills

This role requires a fully qualified medical physician.
Although not essential, a medical degree from Japan will be preferred.
Any therapeutic specialization is welcome.
The candidate will possess strong bilingual capabilities given the high degree of domestic and international exposure.

The following experiences are essential in the success of this role:
- Extensive experience in clinical development in a pharmaceutical company (preferably more than 7 years)

- In addition to some clinical experience, you must have working experience in a domestic or foreign pharmaceutical company IN JAPAN. (preferably more than years)

- Be familiar with all the critical functions of clinical development as well as all the supporting divisions (safety, RA etc)

- Experience in NDA filings and CTDs will be essential

- Experience managing and developing staff in the clinical development experience.
