
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the preparation and initial review of the monthly financial reports for the Finance subcommittee and Board of Trustees. These reports will include YTD budget analysis and management accounts
Implementation of the annual budget process liaising with all stakeholders ensuring the integrity and sign-off of all data supplied, and that submissions are made on a timely basis.
Management of the financial accounting system, including development verification, and production of management information reports, financial allocations and coding.
Analysis of financial data needed in fiscal and budgetary planning.
Responsible for maintaining the fixed asset register and mnitoring additions and disposals, and maintaining depreciation reports.
Responsible for developing and maintaining policies and procedures for the school’s computerized accounting system
Responsible for delivery of ad-hoc projects

Knowledge/Experience
3-5 years professional experience
A comprehensive knowledge of broad-based financial accounting functions
Strong controls/accounting background
Knowledge of accounting, including related financial accounting standards.
Knowledge/experience of systems applications - particularly AccPac
Qualifications
Degree in accounting
