Job Description

Technical activities:
- In accordance with the Branch and Group’s guidelines, define and implement the quality assurance strategy for the
components purchased by the division
- Create a Quality Purchasing organization for the Division in accordance with company standard
- Build up the Quality Purchasing budget, follow the related action plans and grant their efficiency
- Assure the quality of the Purchasing Quality Reporting
- Assure the quality standard for the purchased components for new projects
- Recover costs of non-quality
- Define objectives and take part to the negotiation of Quality contracts with the suppliers
- Take part in the selection of suppliers

Managerial activities (line or functional management):
- Manage the PQA, SQA and Incoming inspection team
- Recruit, organize and train the Quality Purchasing team
- Eradicate quality incidents in purchased components
- Prevent defective components from entering the Valeo site

Required Skills

Knowledge of the main quality concepts (PQA, SQA, Incoming Inspection), of quality tools and methodologies common to
the automotive industry (FMEA, Kaizen, PDCA, SPC…)
General mechanical and electrical knowledge both on product and process Managerial skills
At least 5 years professional experience in high-volume production industry
SQA or PQA auditor
Department manager (Quality, Design, Production)
