Job Description
A leading American software company with strong growth and an international focus seeks a Japan Finance Manager to report to the Japan Country Controller.
This position will oversee all the accounting roles in the company and manage employees, as well as assist the country controller. The person must keep good relations with all Japan department managers, as well as the US headquaters.
Duties include:
Monthly financial activity analysis and providing associated reports
Forecast vs. Actual variances analysis
Expense forecast preparation for each department
Annual budget preparation.
Cash Flow Forecasting
Revenue Planning and Forecasting
Contribution Analysis (Management Account Analysis)
Supervise 3+ staff
Required Skills
Qualifications
Strong financial background
Strong people management skill
Familiarity with SAP/R3
Strong MS-Excel knowledge
Hyperion Planning (plus)
Fluent both in Japanese and English (Verbally & written)
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, coordination and follow through skills
Good customer service & communication skills
Excellent time management skill
Requirements (Education, Certification, Training and Experience)
JCPA holder (plus)
More than 5 years of experience in this or similar position with multinational environment experience (preferably in IT business)
Positive thinking with a “Can-do” attitude and flexible
