Company Description
The company is a top five global insurer by market capitalization, and is one of the fastest growing in the world. It has also joined the small number of foreign insurance companies in Japan that have “made it,” beyond doubt as a long-term player in the market.
There have been significant improvements in IT at this company in recent years, as the firm has moved a long way from the domestic situation it inherited. There is, however, still plenty that must be done. IT processes need to be improved to accommodate Life products, as well as an expanding VA business. Long-standing demands for various adjustments and tools from the business must be satisfied. Package solutions must be adapted to fit in with the local situation more effectively.
