1. Recruit, train, and retain a high-performance team.
2. Manage and participate in development and redesign of processes and policies that maximize efficiency.
3. Manage and participate in design and delivery of effective communication that meets the needs of field personnel.
4. Identify opportunities for profit improvement and work with internal partners to implement.
5. Ensure the ongoing delivery of superior customer service and support to field teams.
6. Manage and provide support for in-store events and product launches.
7. Support the procurement of supplies for new and existing stores.
8. Work in partnership with Store Operations senior leadership to negotiate with vendors to leverage store growth and reduce operating expenses.
9. Participate in efforts with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product merchandising, visual merchandising, finance, and HR to design programs, methods and practices that are executable and effective at the store level.

1. Strong written proficiency in English and Japanese
2. 1-3 years retail operations experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
3.1-3 years management experience with a proven ability to build and develop high-performance teams
4. Demonstrated ability to formulate effective solutions designed to improve business results
5. Ability to interact with team members at all levels
6. Negotiating skills, a plus
7. A change-agent with a flexible style, which enables professional, efficient reaction to directional changes
8. Keen analytical skills and ability to identify and creatively resolve recurring issues
9. Knowledge and experience of retail systems a plus
(Some domestic and some international travel required)
