▼Student Service Manager - Le Cordon Bleu Paris Ltd.


Special conditions:
-Out of Hours Work: Some evening and weekend duty may be required.
-Travel: Some local and international travel may be required.

Key responsabilities:
1) Contribute to the effective and efficient management of the Classic Cycle and Culinary Mangement programs by the following means:-
· Organising and monitoring the progress of activities and strategies, which ensure the smooth delivery of all programs
· Work collaboratively in the implementation of Performance management.
2) Enhance continuous improvement of Le Cordon Bleu education and training programs
3) Maintain relationships with Kobe School and other LCB International Schools to ensure the consistency in and ongoing quality improvement
4) Manage resources, including human, physical, financial and student support services in line with Le Cordon Bleu policy by:
· Participating in the selection, induction, development and allocation of staff for specific functions within the Student Service Division
· Ensuring that staffing rosters are prepared and monitored in line with the schedule of courses across the program to ensure conduct in the most efficient and effective manner
· Implementing, monitoring, and reporting on procedures which ensure that budget expenditure, performance agreement and educational delivery effectively meet program agreement requirements
5) Work with the General Manager, and the Excecutive Committee (as required) on the preparation of proposals and projects as identified.
6) Apply the principles of personnel management, Equal Opportunity, Equal Employment Opportunity as it relates to the scope of the position.

Skills:
1. Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing in Japanese and French and to interact and respond to the needs of a diverse range of people including staff, students and industry personnel, both nationally and internationally.

2. Possess the ability to evaluate the performance of work units across a range of functions and develop appropriate responses to changing circumstances, including policy, academic requirements or initiatives including Departmental initiatives.

3. Ability to identify and recommend measures aimed at establishing and maintaining the integrity and efficiency of programs.

Experience:
1. Experience in the management of people and educational leadership in the delivery of programs.

2. Experience in managerial planning including administration, human resource and financial control.

3. Experience in the management of semi commercial hospitality facilities Experience with programming for students and staff in relation to educational delivery.

4. Experience at management level within the international educational environment.


Knowledge:
