JOB DESCRIPTION:
Business Group: Information Technology Department - Business Analysis.
Job Title: Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst
(internal title will be Business Analyst or Lead Business Analyst)
Reporting To: Business Analysis Team Leader
Job Statement:
- To provide analysis services to support business and/or technical change.
Overview of Key Duties:
- To interpret business requirements to produce analysis for projects and/or smaller initiatives
- To provide business analysis support to ensure effective delivery (as measured by time, cost and quality) of agreed projects, covering activities such as:
o Impact assessment of changes
o Analysis and documentation of requirements
o Identification and analysis of solutions
o Design and management of the implementation of process and organizational changes
o Cost/Benefit analysis of solutions and approaches
- To contribute to the BA community and the development and deployment of analysis best practice, tools and methods.
- To develop effective relationships with project customers and suppliers.
- To assist upskilling project business participants in effective change management disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- To resolve issues found by the business side especially in investment team
- To recommend changes in the business process especially in investment team
- To assess how much impact changes have
- To analyze and document requirements
- To identify solutions and list up what options the company has
- To design implementation plan and manage the actual implementation
- To take key decisions that will likely to have a financial and/or operational impact on us.
- To modify the execution plan with realistic and logical mind-set when needed
Person Profile:
- Can develop new ideas and approaches that impact on existing methods, policies and approaches.
- Quick to take an action without panicking even for very urgent/emergency case
- Easy to coop with other peer staffs or other departments members
- Ready to own responsibility for coordinating and planning the objectives and activities for the month ahead.
- Punctual working style required due tasks allocated have significant impact on our business
- Enthusiastically tackle to resolve issues
- Eager to learn attitude
- A technical minded person with a keen desire to be inline with the ever changing computer industry

Required Skills
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Experience in the security/FX trade/investment process in the past career (mandatory)(not limited to the experience at the asset management company or security house, preferably in their front to middle office area.)
- Exposure to IT related experience especially programmer or system engineer (mandatory).
- Is fully conversant with all major aspects within an area of IT (mandatory)
- Good communication skill utilizing “Asset Management Industry Jargon” and “IT Industry Jargon”.
- Has the ability to communicate very detailed and complex concepts and ideas both verbally and in writing in a concise and clear manner (mandatory)
- Japanese and English communication skill (mandatory)
- Basic skill for MS Schedule, Visio, Outlook, Excel & Word. (mandatory)
- Project management experience is a large plus (not mandatory)
- Understanding of derivative products is a large plus (not mandatory)
- BA experience in another company is a large plus (not mandatory)
- College/University graduate (B.A./B.S. holder or equivalent educational background) or above
- Security Analyst qualification is a plus (not mandatory)
