Job Description
An opportunity to be a member of the business development team with a leading pharmaceutical company has arisen. The position which is located in Tokyo will be responsible for flow of new products into the companies pipeline. Portfolio management and commercial evaluation of potential opportunities is the primary responsibility.
- Management of all new in- and out-licensing activities including opportunity analysis/recommendations, partner relations and existing agreements.
- Coordination and business review of portfolio prioritization process
- Evaluation of new business opportunities (in/out-licensing) and recommendation of future strategies.
Qualifications and Required Experiences
- Must have experience in commercial assessment of potential products.
- At least 5 years in portfolio management, business development or new product planning.
- Must have native level Japanese and strong functional English
- At least 5 to 10 years working in the pharmaceutical industry in Japan (domestic or foreign capital organization)
- At least 4 years at a management level
