*We are the project management team responsible for the execution and support of McDonald’s promotional activities. A guest saying, “I’m lovin’ it”. A child smiling while playing with a Happy Meal toy. We help manage the entire event from working upfront with the agencies to providing promotional details in order to have a successful promotion! We strongly welcome those with Event Management backgrounds and those from Advertising agencies who understand project execution. Also Marketing and PR professionals!

Provide Leadership: Understand and reinforce McDonald’s vision - facilitate key McDonald’s meetings and participate as a member of zone McDonald’s business teams. Demonstrate ability to balance conflicting priorities, with the ultimate goal of meeting all critical deadlines. Remains calm under pressure. Be an active advocate for change. Manage crises effectively. Negotiate well. Provide effective mediation, when necessary.

Manage Alliances: Develop and manage alliances with other organisations. Understand partner’s needs and how to align with McDonald’s and agency needs within IPL scope or responsibilities.

Build teams: develop healthy team environment, motivate and encourage teams, secure agencies and partner participation on teams. Understand the importance of relationships. Apply solid relationship skills with a wide range of partner types and personalities. Understand the importance of clarifying and meeting customer expectations, with varying management styles.

Communicate effectively: Anticipate, interpret and communicate with McDonald’s, Agencies and Partners. Have strong written, verbal and listening skills. Communicate clearly and concisely to team members on an ongoing basis. Delievr strong presentations. (Facilitate communication with McDonald’s Zone management (including Operations, Marketing, Business Affairs, Legal); Country Management ( Operations, Marketing); Licensors in the Entertainment & Retail Toy industries; and all contributing agencies

Negotiate effectively and resolve conflict appropriately: balance conflicting priorities and negotiate to a win-win. Break down barriers.

Manage the IPL Japan organisation: Manage and mentor direct reports. Oversee multiple Budgets - internal, and external. Develop and maintain timelines for multiple projects. Manage multiple initiatives in a fast paced, time restricted pressured environment. . Must have a positive attitude in fast paced and often problem solving pressured environment. Flexibility to work with multiple time zones.

Develop the business: in alignment with zone Managing Director , identify and assess business growth opportunities within the zone which support Global IPL strategies.
