Job Description
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Manage the operations function of a 100 person growing professional services firm in Tokyo. Maintain service delivery platforms in a revenue-earning state, service quality standards, staff management aims, and agreed financial objectives.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Young candidates with shorter experience but passion and entrepreneurial drive will also be considered!
Service delivery
Manage service quality, setting system availability standards and change management and recovery procedures
Operations Staff Training & Development
Provide a superior working environment & conditions, including job descriptions, individual and team goals, staff performance reviews, training and coaching programs, internal promotion, succession management and support
Process Improvement
Establish effective processes to support timely service delivery and cost efficiency. Regularly measure and review process effectiveness
Financial service reporting & trend analysis
Determine standards, measure & report on Operational Key Performance Indicators Service Cost efficiencies. Identify significant areas of potential cost savings in procurement, service delivery, and staff expenditure
Guidelines to ensure quality and confidentiality control over services
Supplier Relationships
Develop good working relationship with key suppliers to facilitate support requests and optimum supplier deliverables
Support for the Sales & Marketing Functions
Assist with the investigation, development and launch of new products and services.
Required Skills
REQUIREMENTS
High-level customer management
Managing internal finance and HR operations and service delivery staff
Staff management experience
Good spoken and written Japanese & English
Relevant experience in the professional services industry
