Regional trading system GUI and framework development, providing such functionality as: risk analysis, risk scenarios, pricing, trade upload, market data manipulation, etc.

Gathering and documenting of new requirements from traders. Developing ideas to improve the production environment. Day to day support of locally developed Derivatives trading applications (trade valuations, trade flow).

Analysis of incidents. Coordination and management of incidents with regional IT teams. Regular & clear communiations to traders of the status of incidents. Resolution and fixing of incidents. Deployment of enhancements/upgrades to exisitng systems (ownership of deployment is with the support team). Monitoring and checking of production apps (morning checks).

Required: excellent written & spoken English. Strong C# skills. At least 3 years of development experience. Windows and Unix (solaris) scripting.

Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to grasp new concepts. The desire to succeed in a highly competitive environment. Ability to work effectively in a team on high profile projects.

Preferred: experience working on trading systems. experience with IR and Credit derivative products. Business-level Japanese (written & spoken) advantageous.

Strong client relationship skills with a strong customer service oriented attitude. Educated to degree level. Prefer someone with Sybase & Oracle skills. Prefer C++ / Excel VBA / VB / Java/ HTML / XML / XSLT / ASP / Perl
