Technical Support Engineer


Position Summary

- Provide technical support to customers (telephone, online, face-to-face visits)
- Provide some technical training to customers on topics related to Red Hat support
- Provide technical assistance to other departments
- Analyze problems and maintain logs
- Report recurring problems to Product Management/Engineering

Requirements
- Degree in technology or Computer Science
- At least 2 years of experience in troubleshoot, debugging and configuration of different services on Linux
- Understanding of Linux and Open Source
- Excellent understanding of different installation methods and Linux networking
- Working knowledge of firewall, security, web servers and databases using Linux
- Certified Technician or Engineer highly desirable
- Fluent in Japanese, good verbal and written skills in English

Education: Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
