Job Description
- Ability to analyze and interpret business requirements and functional specifications
- Design technical implementation using OO design
- Lead junior developers to implement applications
- Create automated unit tests and successfully demonstrate results
- Assist business users and analysts during user acceptance tests
- Document newly created systems and enhancements
- Participate in second-line support activities
- Clearly communicate progress on a regular basis
Required Skills
Required Skills:
- Strong Java skills with development experience using JBoss / Spring / Hibernate, and exposure to Unix
- Strong OO design skills
- Database/SQL skills
- Experience in or exposure to the Financial industry required
- 2-3 years experience leading or managing a development team
