Job Description

*Ability to analyze and interpret business requirements and functional specifications

*Design technical implementation using OO design

*Lead junior developers to implement applications

*Create automated unit tests and successfully demonstrate results

*Assist business users and analysts during user acceptance tests

*Document newly created systems and enhancements

*Participate in second-line support activities

*Clearly communicate progress on a regular basis

Required Skills

Required Skills:

*Strong Java skills with development experience using JBoss / Spring / Hibernate, and exposure to Unix

*Strong OO design skills

*Database/SQL skills

**Experience in or exposure to the Financial industry required

**2-3 years experience leading or managing a development team

Bilingual (English and Japanese). Japanese is considered a plus; but English is a must
