
・Developing a master test plan document for projects, where decisions on scope/content/duration/completion requirements as well as the proper allocation of resources are executed accordingly.
・Decide on the test requirements and scope of the project based on the business requirements unique to the project.
・Conduct Testability Assessment on business requirements to ensure the documents are complete from Quality Assurance perspectives.
・Ensure the quality of system specifications by assessing their coverage against Business Requirements.
・Supervising the test process(Function Test/User Acceptance Test/Regression Test/System Integration Test/ End to End Test etc;)in order to ensure the adherence to the master test plan and the quality of each project.
・Reviewing the Function Test /UAT/Regression Test design specifications for each testing phase to ensure quality and maintain efficiency.
・Coordinate test execution including test environment and data preparation.
・Coordination of batch requests, defect log maintenance, test execution progress, status reporting, and sign-off of the test results.
・Tracking the progress of the test process for each project as well as making the necessary changes for fixing issues/problems that arise. Depending on the level of priority for the issue, a report will be required by the management team for submission.
・Tracking and managing that the test process runs in accordance with the Sarbanes-Oxley law, FSA Test Manual, and any other internal rules, regulations, and or policies relevant to the test process.
・Actively suggesting and implementing necessary changes and or modifications that will effectively increase the overall efficiency of the test process.
・ Decide the QA tool usage such as Quick Test Professional or Load Runner and the scope for project based on its nature and testing requirements.
・Strong experience in Application Testing, Testing Methodologies, Testing Deliverables, and related documentations for Quality Assurance.
・At least 5 years+ system development experience in an IT Division for an Insurance Agency
・Basic knowledge of standard SDLC models and processes.
・Hands-on experience or working knowledge of industry standard QA tools such as QTP, LoadRunner, and Test Director.
・The ability to report/explain progress updates/issue updates/suggestions etc; in written form
・Strong negotiation skills to successfully interact with vendors and or users
・The ability to interact and communicate comfortably with staff in and outside of Japan.
・Basic Computer Skills(MS-Office, MS Project, MS Visio)
