Job Description
As a key member of the Asia Pacific marketing team for one of the fastest growing global communications companies in the world, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a variety of innovative channel marketing programs, campaigns, events and sales programs.
We are seeking a creative Channel Marketing Manager who is looking to develop their skills and knowledge further, and offer frequent opportunities for professional development vie ongoing training, seminars and further study, as well as the possibility for cross-regional transfers in the future.
Your main responsibilities as a Channel Marketing Manager will involve:
- Defining and developing marketing and business development initiatives targeting channel partners and key verticals
- Delivering marketing, lead generation and business development programs within select channels, leading to enhanced acquisition and retention outcomes, activity levels, funnel volume and account penetration
- Coordinating and executing security-focused marketing initiatives in the Japanese market
- Handling the delivery of internal and external communications and taking responsibility for relevant translation support
- Helping to shape product and solutions messages for optimum impact in the local market, including delivering vertical and channel events
- Developing and maintaining a robust marketing database of customer contacts and prospects
- Managing projects within agreed budgets, in accordance to timeframes, and measuring performance to targets
Required Skills
Your skills and qualifications as a Channel Marketing Manager will ideally include:
- Degree in business, marketing, a related field of study, or equivalent experience supported by demonstrable campaign development and implementation skills
- Previous experience in B2B marketing within a telecommunications or IT technology related field would be an advantage
- Experience working closely with sales organisations utilising diverse marketing, media and methodologies
- An excellent understanding of regional and Asia Pacific market place
- World class communications and interpersonal skills supported by experience working in a multi-cultural team within Asia
- Excellent project management abilities
- English and Japanese language skills to a business standard
- Flexibility in the availability for work commitments
