Job Description
Responsibilities
・ We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive individual who is passionate about solving investment-related business problems through the use of technology. Much of the work in this position is related to application development & support. A successful candidate will be one who demonstrates attention to detail, strong critical reasoning skills, a good work ethic, and the ability to deliver.
・ We need someone who is a proactive self-starter, who can find areas for improvement in the local business and leverage the global infrastructure to meet these requirements.
・ The person who fills this position will need to have strong inter-personal and communication skills and must enjoy working with other people in an interactive environment, and be a team player.
・ This position would involve working with a Sybase database, Java middleware, and MQ Messaging infrastructure users in a business analysis role.
・ Provide systems development and technology support for fund management and asset management processes (i.e., front to back) that serve Portfolio Management business.
・ Analysis of complex business process problems, and working closely with the various technical leads and business
Required Skills
Primary Technical skills:
・ J2EE Framework, MQ, XML with 2-3 years experience in Java Programming and SQL (Sybase Preferred)
・ Strong computing background with experience on complete SDLC and Architecture principles and patterns.
Other Competencies:
・ Financial industry experience of at least 12 months.
・ VBA and ASP Skills
・
・ Passion for solving investment business problems through the use of technology.
・ Strong inter-personal and communication skills. Strong critical reasoning skills.
・ Detail-oriented approach to solving problems. Enthusiasm for learning.
・ Should speak fluent English.
