Job Description
Our client is a global multi-strategy hedge fund that invests in equities, debt and real estate investments both public and private, taking an active role in its investments, to unlock shareholder value. The fund has just entered Japan, although they have offices in New York, London, Hong Kong with over 150 employees.
Seeking analyst, associate and VP level candidates for the growing Tokyo team with experience in investment banking, private equity or hedge funds preferably.
Required Skills
Possess excellent academic credentials and very strong analytical skills. Successful candidates will be a team players with strong interpersonal and communication skills and a proactive self-starter, with the desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment.
You will be part of a team responsible for: evaluating and undertaking investments. This will involve: market screening for potential investment opportunities, financial modelling, due diligence and intensive analysis of pre-screened targets; preparation of investment recommendations for investment committee, monitoring of existing fund portfolio investments.
