The opportunity is with a US based Real Estate Consultancy firm working in coordination with a major US investment bank providing underwriting and consulting services.

This is a newly established position at a firm which has just have just set up office in Tokyo.
The position will involve working on underwriting debt, pre-IPO, public to private and select equity type investments.
The real estate advisory team interfaces directly with "blue-chip" international real estate funds, large (international and domestic) developers, and private real estate groups and be will taught advanced real estate debt and equity structuring and credit analysis.
The firm is a very unique and progressive company that would have appeal to professionals looking for an established company (22 years in business) that they can grow with. Further, this office will not only be focused on Japan real estate, but will also be supporting CS in China, Singapore, Vietnam, Korea, Malaysia and other Asian countries.

A background in real estate debt or equity underwriting is an advantage but not necessary for the right candidate willing to learn.
