The Structured Finance Group in our client’s Treasury Department provides clients with innovative forms of financing that focus on the development of domestic capital markets to help increase the capacity for long-term local currency investment. Its activities include structuring and participating in securitizations and credit enhanced debt structures for clients in the developing markets. The group has responsibility for transactions in Asia that encompass various asset classes including senior debt, quasi-equity, mortgages, consumer loans, trade finance receivables, SME loans and credit derivatives. It is involved in both domestic and cross-border transactions that increase the capital markets? capacity for strategic funding.

The Structured Finance Group is recruiting a Structured Products Specialist who will participate in 1) structuring, modeling, negotiating and executing structured transactions; 2) negotiations and discussions with clients, rating agencies, investors, investment banks, and government authorities; 3) assisting specialized groups within IFC with the origination of new transactions, due diligence, credit analysis, and legal documentation; and 4) providing strategic direction and policy orientation for work in the sector and advisory services to clients.

This position will be based in Hong Kong

Our client is searching for a candidate with a solid educational background, preferably with an MBA, and several years experience working in an investment bank or working with fixed income capital markets, preferably emerging markets. Experience with securitization and structured products including interest rate and credit derivatives will be highly beneficial to candidates interested in applying for this role. Experience in developing economies and Chinese language skills a considerable advantage.
