Japanese national or permission to work in Japan required  

- Overall responsibility for Accounting; (GL, AR, AP, Financial Statements, Fixed Assets, Audit, Budget, Forecasting)
- Provide accurate and timely reporting to management
- Supervise monthly, annual closings and prepare Financial Statements
- Control and manage outsourcing vendors; F/A and Payroll.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive implementation of needed changes.
- Handle ad-hoc queries and requests from Headquarters
- Manage 1-2 accountants; 2-3 outsourced resources.
- Develop ERP and reporting tool.

University graduate; preferably in Finance/ Accounting.
Good knowledge of JGAAP (UK GAAP would be welcome)
More than 5 years experience in Multi-national company; preferably in small-sized company
Able to lead a team effectively.
Strong process skills and analytical skills.
Ability to use ERP systems and MS-Excel.
Highly motivated/Self-starter
Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese and interpersonal skills.
