Job Description
They are now looking for an ambitious consultant to support and develop solutions for existing and potential clients. They are just about to launch a new web services product that has been hugely successful globally so the right candidate can expect good career progression and the opportunity to work on the latest technology.
In this role you will be have the opportunity to working both on site with clients and with the sales and technical teams so strong communications skills are essential. In addition you will need to have experience of:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a sotware environment, either development or support, with web technologies. Expeience with one or more of the following: Java, C/C++, VB, .NET, C#, OO technologies, JavaScript, VBScript, HTML.
- Some prior client facing experience, either in a consulting or support role.
- Interest in SOA, Web Services and BPEL.
- Understanding of relational databases and SQL scripting (Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2).
- A broad understanding of technical environments, mainframe, Unix and Windows systems.
