The position of pharmacovigilence manager or safety controller will be involved with all GVP duties. The position will involve:

- gathering, analysing and disseminating safety related information (adverse events etc)
- Use of specialised and dedicated proprietary software for managing confidential information
- Submission of materials as well as regular negotiations with regulatory authorities.
- Assessment and compliance related duties for promotion material and packaging.

The following candidate must have the following experiences:

- Experience working in a domestic or foreign pharmaceutical company in the drug safety or pharmacovigilence division for at least 5 years. Working in the capacity of manager in this division for at least 3 years is a must.
- Candidate must be proficient in reading, writing and speaking Japanese.

The following are preferable but not essential:

- Pharmacy or science related tertiary or post-tertiary education.
- Profiency in English
