JUNIOR to PARTNER level positions are available.

There are several very well respected international law firms in Tokyo that have gained a reputation for providing outstanding tax advice to multinational companies working in Japan. These tax practices are gaining an increasing number of prestigious clients and so are seeking new members to join their teams.

Working with Zeirishi and other tax professionals including transfer pricing specialists, you will be required to provide accurate and timely advice to global companies.

Part of the job demands that you liaise closely with Japanese professionals and so fluency in Japanese (or at least Business level) is a necessity, as is native, or near-native English level.

It is likely that this position will also require that some time will be spent overseas, probably in the US, as part of the ongoing training and international exposure.

At least 3 years international tax experience gained with a major law or accounting firm is necessary.

ATTORNEYS must be admitted to practice law in US, UK or other commonwealth coutries such as Australia, NZ, Canada etc.

ACCOUNTANTS are also very welcome to apply as long as you possess a CPA qualification.

ZEIRISHI may also be considered for one of these teams.

At least fluent English as well as fluent Japanese are both essential for this role.

Experience with transfer pricing would also be preferred, but is not mandatory.
