This position requires the ideal candidate to work in a team of investment professionals at a global private equity fund. The Japan team is part of the Asia Investment Team which is involved in corporate acquisitions primarily in Japan but also in greater China.

- Conduct industry research on potential corporate acquisitions
- Conduct financial, legal and other pre acquisition due diligence
- Manage all negotiations and deal execution coordinating with team members and external professionals (Lawyers, CPAs)
- Plan and execute exit strategy for portfolio companies
- Screen potential acquisitions and create pitch book
- Arrange financing for acquisition
- Post-acquisition execution including restructuring and turnaround of portfolio companies
- Exit planning and execution

Candidates for this position should have the following skills:

Technical
- Strong financial modeling expertise, excel, VBA etc
- Experience in Investment Banking (M&A, ECM or DCM) or Strategic Management Consulting
Communication
- Spoken and written English skills
Personal
- Ability to work in multi-cultural, cross functional and multi located environment
