Desired skill sets

-        Through knowledge of networking and security.

-        Strong knowledge and hands on experience on Cisco network equipments which include but not limited to routers, switches, firewall, wireless equipments.

-        Experience in all areas of local and wide area networks management and administration including network configuration, setup, troubleshooting, planning, designing, implementation and user support

-        Experience in supporting telecommunications equipment.

-        Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Japanese communication will be added advantage.

Skill and Ability to

-        Plan, design, and maintain data/voice networks

-        Provide technical support to users

-        Administer day-to-day operation of networks

-        Implement LAN/WAN maintenance and management procedures

-        Communicate effectively in both oral and written form

-        Work independently and as a team member

Other Characteristics

-        Ability and willingness to travel on work assignments.

-        Willingness to work additional hours during the week and/or weekend, if required.

Experience:

-        5+ years of prior and current experience as a network administrator on a medium sized network of servers, desktop systems and communications devices using current technologies.

Education

-        Any combination of education and training equivalent to possession of a bachelor's degree in computer science, information engineering or other related areas.

-        Possession of a network administration certificate is preferred. (CCNP, CCIE or relevant)
