Job Description
The Role:
We are seeking highly motivated people to join the Global Data team in Tokyo.
This group provides real time market data which is used by our clients to make informed investment decisions.
As a Data Analyst your main responsibilities will be to update, maintain and process data for a designated market area. We are looking to recruit into a range of data teams including Equities, Fixed Income and other financial securities.
For these entry level permanent positions we are looking for candidates with a passion for the financial markets that following extensive training and development will help drive our product forward with new ideas and innovations.
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and qualifying relevant data
- Updating and processing data onto the Bloomberg database in a timely manner
- Maintaining and enhancing the existing database
- Responding to client queries regarding the data within assigned market
Required Skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- Fluency in English and Japanese.
- Strong interest in financial markets
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Speed and accuracy when processing data
- Experience of processing data beneficial
- Excel experience would be beneficial
