Job Description

Job Title: East Japan Sales Manager
Group: Japan Sales Department
Report to: Director of Sales and Marketing Division
Compensation: Up to 15MJPY (OTE) including sales commissions 4.5MJPY
Job Summary:
East Japan Sales Manager has geographic responsibly for revenue for all regions to the East
of Japan and selected major accounts. The person will maximize revenues through the direction of
field sales activities. The person may also be responsible for the performance of Japan Channel
Partners. The person will develop plans and strategies to promote the success of the field sales and
will be responsible for resource allocation and sales related expense management.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the East Japan sales revenue.
• Annual and quarterly revenue planning.
• Setting of individual quarterly revenue targets and sales commissions.
• Monthly revenue forecasting.
• Understanding justifications and subsequently approving special pricing.
• Japan Channel Partner management.
• Major accountant development and management.
• Expense approvals and control in accordance with rules, regulations, policies and budgets.
• Ensure that all software sales are made in accordance with sales policies.
• Recruitment, training and deployment of sales specialists.
• Working with marketing to provide guidance on effective utilization of marketing resources.
• Provide feedback to management on customer and market information.
• To monitor sales pipelines and to assist sales specialists to move opportunities to closure.
• To motivate members of the team.
• Assist and provide guidance for sales negotiating special pricing, terms and conditions
• Review performance of staff and provide guidance for individual staff development to improve
individual sales effectiveness.

Required Skills

Skills and Experiences:
• Minimum 5 Years Management Experience in software companies.
• Minimum 5 Years Sales Experience in CAE/EDA/Similar Industries.
• Good communication skills including presentation skills in Japanese and English
• Excellent Leadership and Team Building Skills
