Job Description
As part of the sales organization, this individual will be responsible for managing the sales support specialist team. This individual will provide leadership of this team to ensure achievement of productivity expectations, optimal support of lead qualification, maintenance renewals, and other sales support activities.
Responsibilities
Day to day management includes performance management, motivation, call coaching and development.
• Frequent communications through individual meetings, team meetings and territory planning sessions.
• Responsible for all personnel matters including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and retention, annual performance reviews, and any performance issues.
• Coordinates all sales and product training needs for new hires, as well as ongoing training needs for individuals or the team.
• Oversees the team’s lead flow and maintenance renewal volumes; collaborates with sales management team to ensure optimal support across the multiple territories and other sales support activities.
• Utilize available reports and tools to manage performance. Knowledgeable about Siebel/CRM system and order management systems.
• Consistent interaction with other sales support managers and sales management; frequent interaction with marketing, customer service, and sales operations.
Required Skills
• The individual is required to have a minimum of 3 years of management experience, strongly preferred in a sales support or direct sales environment.
• Business to business experience essential, high tech experience is preferred, software licensing background ideal.
• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• Communication skills in both Japanese and English
