Job Description

Department: Custom Development
Location: Tokyo
Reports to: Director, Consulting Services

Job Description:
We are currently looking for an SAP consultant / Developer that has experience in SAP modules such as BC, MM, SD, PP or FI and that has proven development experience (in any programming language). A quick learner of new technologies and being a team player is a big plus.
Tasks range from creating add-on developments to SAP systems and performing basic parameter settings (SAP customizing) as required in the development project.

Required Skills / Experience:

  • 3+ years of SAP consulting, customizing and/or SAP add-on development experience
  • At least Japanese Level 2 (JLPT2) equivalent and Business Level English

Preferred Skills / Experience:

  • Experience working at SAP or an SAP partner company
  • ABAP or SAP NetWeaver development experience
  • Java development experience
  • .NET development experience

Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to understand instructions and independently ask for clarifications
  • Demonstrated ability to compose clear and concise emails, documentation and presentations
  • Ability to present work results at customer site
  • Ability to accept criticism and be held accountable on a daily basis (we believe holding each other accountable is fundamental for teamwork)
  • Ability to hold colleagues accountable and provide constructive feedback

Other Requirements:

  • Valid work visa for Japan
