Job Description

Global financial markets software and information firm seeks a Researcher to gather, verify and enter data into proprietary software applications. The Researcher will utilize various sources to identify and gather relevant information pertaining to institutional investor clientele. This challenging and strategically important role is based in Tokyo and involves interaction with key departments and clients. Integrity and accuracy of the data will ensure success in this role.

Our system is used as a tool for analysis of capital markets (equity and debt) and m & a market of foreign and domestic investment banks.

Daily business:

  • Gather information from primary or secondary sources.
  • Research and data collect (Mainly about Japanese companies)
  • Collect data in the systems and check for mistakes / faults
  • Handle client support. Make sure that the client needs being met.
  • Check news that releases on a regular basis.

  •  主要な、もしくは二次的な情報源から情報を収集する。
  •  主に日本企業について調査し、データを収集する。
  •  システム上でデータを収集し間違いやエラーを確認する。
  •  顧客サポートを担当し、そのニーズに合わせる。
  •  恒常的にニュースやリリースをチェックする。
     

Required Skills

  • Fluency in English; Because the other offices within the company communicates in English only, business level or higher is required.
  • Must be able to demonstrate first-class quantitative skills and good attention to detail.
  • The ability to work in a team environment and communicate ideas and results successfully to colleagues.
  • Some knowledge about Internet-based system would be desirable
  • Financial experience would be considered an advantage but not a requirement.

 

  • 流暢な英語：社内のコミュニケーションは英語のみのためビジネスレベルもしくはそれ以上の英語力が必要です。
  • チームの一員として働き、考えや結果を同僚と上手くコミュニケートできる。
  • インターネットをベースとしたシステムについての知識があれば尚可。
  • 金融の経験があれば強みとして考慮しますが、必ずしも必要ではありません。
