Main Purpose of the Logistics Manager:
The logistics manager effectively handle all the logistics affairs both upstream and downstream logistics, Quality check, Inspection, order handling. Strategically plan, implement and execute a cost effective and productive logistics operation including importing while taking measures to support sales department of the company. Also, plan, implement and execute effective parts purchasing to contribute for achieving sales target without having excess inventory.
People Management Responsibilities:
To monitor overall management and execution of importing operation.
To review, manage and improve the logistics operation’s utmost productivity and efficiency.
Manage logistics team
To manage operations executed by 3rd parties at the warehouse.
Main Responsibilities:
To negotiate with forwarders, couriers or venders for pricing and operational negotiation
To implement and execute effective importing based on analysis by sales forecasts
To monitor the execution of warehouse activities and operations
To define inventory ratio and follow-up
To coordinate and support vast projects of the company in respect to overall movement of tangible products and inventory
Efficient processing and monitoring of customer orders
Required Skills
Minimum 7 years working experiences in logistics.
Previous experience within the consumer products or food industries (advantageous)
Knowledge of importing procedures
Fluent English skills for overseas communication
Japanese: Native ability
Knowledge of SAP (SAP implementation experience a big advantage)
