Job Description

GM of Fashion Division / Sales Manager (dotted)
This well known company is expanding by adding new brands to its current portfolio. MD Manager will work closely with the GM, managing MD team, also with the Sales department, Administration department and PR Department to ensure the strong development of the brands under managements. You should have a good analysis sense and understanding of fashion to ensure the performance of the brand in terms of sales, stock control and sell through.
Responsibilities:
To plan, organize and control following activities of MD team
- Research, analyze and report on the products and tendencies of Japan fashion market, identifying needs for current brands and potential
- Ensure the buying of the collections at he houses overseas, by selecting samples, by developing the merchandising plan, by setting retail prices and by guiding stores for purchases. During sales session in Japan, do the product training of all sales staff
- Participate to the image control of the brand by coordination activity with PR and VMD team
- Keep close contact with shop sales staff and sales people on the field to ensure a smooth communication and optimization of the stock manag3ment including in-store promotion events support, by collaboration with Sales & Admin team and by controlling deliveries and stock level
- Collect and analyze sales related information
- Coordinate with the brands for all product related issues, including quality control and other administrative tasks
- Support management and business development unit on new business potentiality with close communication
Qualifications:
- Experience in the merchandising of women’s ready to wear, ideally 10 years
- Business level English
- Computer Skills with good command of database software
