1. establish and promote maintenance of safe and healthful working conditions and establish corporate-wide EHS program strategy to reduce or eliminate accidents, environmental and health hazards in compliance with governmental regulations.
2. Mentor all location’s EHS subject-matter experts through the sharing of information, programs and best practices.
3. Regularly inspect facilities and equipment to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards and recommend corrective or preventative measures.
4. Devise training programs to increase proficiency and safe practices and promote safety consciousness.
5. Represent the Company in community or industrial safety groups and programs.
6. Lead EHS Audit activities.
7. Maintain in-plant programs and records in accordance with current company, local and Japan federal requirements for the facility.

1. 四年制大学を卒業されている方 / EHSマネージメント又は理系学部を卒業の方尚可
2. 5年以上のEHSマネージメント経験をお持ちの方
3. 高い英語力をお持ちの方(TOEIC600点以上)
4. Microsoft Officeの操作ができる方
5. EHSの目的/手順を熟知した方尚可
6. 優れたコミュニケーション能力をお持ちの方、説得力、交渉能力をお持ちの方尚可
7. 問題解決能力、想像力に富んだ方尚可
8. ISO14001についての知識をお持ちの方尚可

1. Bachelor’s Degree, preferably an advanced degree in Engineering or EHS management
2. Five (5) years experience in the EHS area
3. High level of English - written and spoken - TOEIC (or similar) 600+ would be ideal
4. Experience in use of MS Office
Preferred Qualifications:
5. Thorough understanding of general EHS objectives, procedures and policies
6. Effective human relation skills, including the ability to communicate, influence, persuade and/or motivate people are essential
7. Problem solving and creative skills to deal both objectively and empathetically with organizational problems
8. ISO14001 knowledge
